A homeless man was found dead at a subway station in Berlin
According to police, the 68-year-old Georg Hoffmann was found at a subway station in Berlin.
Police said they got the call around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 22nd.
Homeless Matthew Ellis-Dorsey says more should be done to help rough sleepers.
The 37-year-old said: "I cycled past there on Tuesday morning and saw the ambulances there and the tent he was sleeping in.
"He mustn't have had any help from the council and he would have been frozen in that tent. It is shocking."
Hoffmann had a 37-year-old daughter and she said Hoffmann had advanced dementia and was in a portion of the facility that was supposed to be locked.
Berlin Police are not treating the man's death as suspicious.
